A little help.
Memory Arcade is six quick games of patterns, colors and sound. Here’s how to make yourself at home.

How do I play?
Choose any game on the main screen. Watch or listen to the sequence, then tap it back. Each successful round adds one light. Classic repeats in order; Reverse plays backwards; Confusion adds misleading words and tones; Distraction moves the lights; Echo uses sound; Gauntlet changes the visual rules.
Tap the question mark during a game for its instructions. Play pauses while help is open.
Can I change the glow or colors?
Open Settings from the gear on the main screen. Under Glow intensity, tap a preview light and compare Full, Soft and Off. Soft is the default.
Choose an alternative color palette or turn on Stronger symbols to make the targets easier to tell apart. Reduce motion keeps targets still and softens animation. The app also respects your iPhone’s Reduce Motion and Differentiate Without Color settings.
The short patterns are too easy. Can I skip ahead?
In Settings, open Starting length. Choose 3, 5, 7 or 9 lights separately for each game. You still need to clear that opening pattern to earn a best score. Daily always starts with three lights so everyone has the same challenge.
Does everyone get the same Daily?
Yes. Each day’s Daily is the same seeded Gauntlet for everyone, including its patterns and rules. It resets at midnight UTC; the app shows the reset in your local time. You can replay the challenge, and your best result for the day stays on your iPhone.
Use Share result to compare with a friend. There is no online leaderboard or account.
Why can’t I hear the game?
Check the speaker control during play and the Sound switch in Settings. Turn up your iPhone’s media volume, and check whether audio is going to headphones or a Bluetooth speaker. Game audio can play with the Ring/Silent switch set to silent.
Echo temporarily enables sound because its patterns are played by ear. Your saved sound preference returns when you leave Echo. Haptics have their own switch.
Where are my scores saved?
Scores, Daily results, history and settings are stored on your iPhone. They are not sent to Hyperstatic, synced through an account, or shared with other players automatically. Deleting the app removes its local data; an iPhone backup may restore it.
Is it really free? Does it work offline?
Yes. All six games and the Daily are free, with no ads, subscriptions or in-app purchases. Gameplay works offline. Opening these help pages, contacting support, or sharing through an online service may use an internet connection.
