Optional diagnostics

Settings → Support can prepare a report with app, device, permission, and backup status. It leaves out habit names, history, Apple Health data, Screen Time selections, account details, and device identifiers. You can review it before sending.

Common fixes

A widget is stale, shows an error, or does not react
  1. Open Keep On once to refresh the widget.
  2. Confirm the habit still exists and is available now. For Apple Health, check its permission and current data.
  3. If the widget remains stale, remove it, add it again, and email support with a screenshot.

iOS controls widget refresh timing.

Apple Health shows no value or needs attention
  1. Open Apple Health and confirm the measure has data for the current period.
  2. In Apple Health, review Keep On’s access and allow that measure.
  3. Return to Keep On to refresh.

Keep On reads selected measures. It never writes to Apple Health.

A Screen Time habit cannot update
  1. Open the habit and confirm its selection and threshold.
  2. Review Screen Time access in iOS Settings.
  3. Re-select the apps, categories, or websites if iOS reports that the private selection is unavailable.

Keep On learns whether the threshold was crossed, not your exact usage.

The Apple Watch is not showing current habits
  1. Keep the iPhone and Watch nearby.
  2. Open Keep On on the iPhone, then open Keep On on the Watch.
  3. Use the Watch refresh action if the screen says the snapshot is stale or unavailable.
Reminders or notification actions do not arrive
  1. Allow notifications for Keep On in iOS Settings.
  2. Open the habit and confirm at least one reminder time is enabled.
  3. Confirm the habit is due in the current goal period.
Automatic backup needs attention
  1. Confirm the iPhone is signed into iCloud and iCloud Drive is on.
  2. Open Settings → Backup and try again.

Restoring a backup replaces the current habits and history after you confirm.

A purchase or restore does not appear
  1. Confirm the App Store is using the Apple Account that made the purchase.
  2. Open Settings → Purchase & Restore and choose Restore Purchases.

A purchase or restore failure never deletes habits.

Data, backup, and deletion

Delete habits in Settings → Manage habits. Delete Keep On’s iCloud copies in Settings → Backup. Delete exported files separately in the Files app.

Manage Apple Health access in the Health app. Screen Time and notification access are in iOS Settings. See the Privacy Policy for details.
