Include your iPhone model, iOS version, Burn List version, and what happened. Please do not include private task titles unless they are directly relevant to the problem.

Notifications are not arriving

• Open Burn List Settings and check the notification status shown there.
• If notifications are off, use Open iPhone Settings and allow notifications for Burn List.
• Check whether scheduled quiet hours or the temporary Quiet button are active.
• Keep at least one unfinished task on today’s list. Burn List goes silent when nothing remains.

Change the reminder pressure

Choose the time between reminders, from 5 to 60 minutes. With Escalate frequency on, ignored reminders come faster over time, down to every 5 minutes. With it off, reminders stay at the interval you chose. Custom quiet hours are always respected.

Change the Quiet button

In Burn List Settings, set Quick quiet duration anywhere from 5 minutes to 2 hours. The button on the main list uses that duration the next time you tap it.

Keep task names private

Task names are hidden from notifications by default. You can change this under Notifications in Burn List Settings. Your iPhone’s notification-preview setting also controls what is visible on the lock screen.

Complete, edit, or delete a task

Tap a task row to mark it burned or unfinished. Use the pencil button to edit its title. Swipe left and tap the trash action to delete it; a full swipe will not delete a task.

Clear or restore the list

Completed tasks stay struck through while anything remains. Burn the final task and the flame finale clears the list and silences its reminders. A five-second Undo appears after the finale and restores the list with the final task unfinished. You can also choose Start fresh in Settings to clear the current list without changing your reminder or quiet-hour preferences.

Your data

Burn List has no account or cloud sync. Lists and settings remain in the app’s private storage on your iPhone. Read the privacy policy for complete details.
